Alternative Dispute Resolution
Commercial law governs corporate and commercial transactions including sale agreements, lease agreements, construction contracts or commercial relationships.
Understanding Commercial Mediation:
Commercial mediation is a form of dispute resolution where a neutral third party assists two parties to a dispute to work towards a negotiated settlement.

THE PROCESS
The parties come together to try, with the help of a skilled mediator, to resolve their differences before formal legal or arbitration proceedings are commenced
The process is confidential and “without prejudice“
Each party presents their case to the mediator
Mediator assists to reach an agreement between the parties

Unlike litigation, we will not decide the cases based on the party’s merits, with mediation the parties retain control of their decision.

At Chiba Attorneys we work together with the parties to facilitate an agreement between them so that all parties are satisfied with the outcome.
